Using De-embedding Techniques to Characterize a DUT

De-embedding is a method often used to remove undesirable parasitic effects of test fixtures. By knowing the connector or test fixture characteristics, you can de-embed (remove) them from the measurements taken by the test instrument, and end up only with measurements of the DUT.
